About the Authors
Pamela Rice Hahn is the author of The
Unofficial Guide to Online Genealogy (IDG, 2000) and is lead author on Master
the Grill The Lazy Way (Alpha Books, Macmillan General Reference, June
1999) and How
to Use Microsoft Access 2000 (Sams, Macmillan Computer Publishing, July
1999). She served as editor for a local community-action commission
newsletter, The AMCAC News, as well as for a number of computer-related
and business newsletters. In addition, she has taught business and sales
training seminars; her most recent speaking engagements have been about
writing opportunities on the Internet. Pam has published several hundred
bylined and ghostwritten articles that have appeared in Glamour, Country
Living, Business Venture, Current Notes, and other national
publications. In addition, she works as a tech editor and writer for Macmillan
Computer Publishing, Sybex, Osborne, Quessing, and DDC.

Dr. Dennis E. Hensley is an associate professor of
English at the Fort Wayne campus of Taylor University, where he teaches such
courses as Corporate Communications, Public Relations, and Business and
Technical Writing. He has served as a consultant for more than 20 years with
such businesses as Chrysler Corporation, General Motors, North American Van
Lines, Indiana & Michigan Power, ITT Corporation, Magnavox, and Spartan
Motors, among many others.
He holds four degrees in communications including a Ph.D.
from Ball State University. He was director of public relations at Manchester
College from 1978-82 and received the Award for Teaching Excellence from
Indiana University in 1990.
Dr. Hensley is the author of 29 books including Uncommon
Sense; Positive Workaholism; Become Famous, Then Rich; How
to Manage Your Time; Making The Most Of Your Potential; How to
Fulfill Your Potential; and Millennium Approaches. Dr. Hensley has
published more than 3,000 bylined articles in such publications as Reader's
Digest, The Writer, and other local and national publications. He
has been a contributing writer for six books published by Writer's Digest
Books and has been a regional correspondent for Writer's Digest
magazine for 24 years. Dr. Hensley is also a frequent speaker and instructor
at writing conferences and workshops.
